Sponsored by Senator Hargrove, SB 5100 states that when committed against a victim under the age of eighteen, the following crimes may be prosecuted up to the victim’s thirtieth birthday: rape in the first and second degree; rape of a child in the first, second and third degree; child molestation in the first, second, or third degree, indecent liberties, and incest.

SB 5100 is the companion to HB 1352, sponsored by Rep. Holy.
