Opportunity Scholarship Program

Senate and Final: The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship Program is a public/private partnership that provides scholarships to students who have received their high school diploma or GED in Washington state and are pursuing a four-year degree in a high-demand field of study. To date, the state has provided $5 million to match private contributions to the program. A total of $25 million is provided to expand the scholarships available and match additional private contributions received.
